Bambu's stock PLA Basic profile on the A1 sets the bed to 65°C. That's caught a number of people off guard, since the same filament on other Bambu printers is often profiled at 55°C — and 65°C is hot enough to contribute to warping on smaller, flatter parts.

The A1 is an open-frame printer with no enclosure, so a hotter bed doesn't raise ambient chamber temperature the way it would on an enclosed machine like the P1S or X1 — which may be part of why Bambu's default leans hotter. But for straightforward adhesion, PLA doesn't need 65°C on a textured PEI plate. If you're seeing warped corners, curled edges, or a print that's hard to remove even after cooling, dropping to 55°C is the first thing to try.
